A buyer's market

The GTA heads into winter as a buyer's market. Sales are running about 9% below last year and prices have eased for more than a year, while new listings are falling even faster, so the choice on offer is slowly narrowing. With inflation back above target, the bigger question this fall is the cost of borrowing, not the price of the house: buyers with an approval in hand have room to negotiate, and conditions are back on the table.

The approach

With me, you don’t buy with confidence, you close with it.
